Before returning back home to London, UK, in late July 2020, I spent six weeks exploring Toronto with my camera. To be honest I didn’t really know what I was going to be shooting, only that I wanted to capture moments like Alex Webb does, and poetry in the everyday like Rebecca Norris Webb does. It was such an enjoyable way of getting to know the city and its idiosyncrasies. Along the way I had some very touching conversations with the people that occupy the spaces I was shooting, and the following portraits were the result of these moments.
