Dominic Markes is a documentary and portrait photographer from south London.
He specialises in long term projects that explore themes of (collective) identity, belonging and connection. His work has been shortlisted for the IPA International Photography Awards in consecutive years, the British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Humanity Awards, and he was twice semi-finalist at the Urban Photo Awards.
Dominic has been commissioned by Google, Tesco, Columbia Records, Pioneer DJ and War Child to name a few, and is available for commissions, portraits and projects worldwide.
